Ollie Robinson Handed Eight-Match Ban for Historic Controversial Tweets

Five games of the eight-match ban would be will be suspended for two years. Robinson, who has already missed the second test against New Zealand and two domestic T20 matches, is now eligible for national selection.

The England bowler was earlier suspended from international cricket after his tweets, which were racist and sexist in nature, surfaced during his Test debut against New Zealand in June. Alongside the ban, he was also handed a fine of £3,200.
