Captain Nigar Sultana broke down in tears after Bangladesh won their first match at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in 10 years, beating Scotland by 16 runs. The last time they had won a match was back in 2014, which was a 17-run win over Ireland. Batting first, the Bangladesh women's national cricket team scored 119/7 and later came up with an impressive bowling effort to restrict the Scotland women's national cricket team to just 103/7.
