Naseem Shah suffered an injury while attempting to save a boundary during the Pakistan vs Bangladesh Asia Cup 2023 Super Four match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on September 6. Mohammad Naim attempted to play a glance off Shaheen Afridi's bowling and the ball hit his pad and raced off to the fine leg boundary. The outfield being pretty quick, Naseem needed to put in extra effort to stop the boundary and although he did manage to get to the ball, he appeared to land on his shoulder. What was scarier was that he laid still for a while and did not move at all.
