Mujeeb Ur Rahman scripted a bit of an unwanted record for himself when he was out hit-wicket during the Bangladesh vs Afghanistan match in Asia Cup 2023 on Sunday, September 3. The Afghanistan spinner hit a six off Taskin Ahmed's bowling but later, the players realised that he had disturbed his stumps with his feet. With this, he became the first batter in cricket to be out hit-wicket two consecutive times. Earlier, the spinner had been dismissed in a similar manner while batting in the 3rd ODI between Pakistan vs Afghanistan earlier. Bangladesh Beat Afghanistan by 89 Runs in Asia Cup 2023, Remain in Contention for Super Four Stage.
