MS Dhoni struck the longest six of IPL 2024 when he pulled off a massive 110m hit off Yash Dayal's bowling during the RCB vs CSK match on Saturday, May 18. Facing the first ball of the 20th over, Dhoni swung hard and deposited the full toss out of the ground over the fine-leg region. The ball went over the roof and outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The previous longest six of IPL 2024 was hit by Dinesh Karthik, which was coincidentally at the same ground when RCB had faced Sunrisers Hyderabad. Unfortunately for Dhoni, he was dismissed the next ball, and CSK ended up losing the match by 27 runs and missing out on a spot in the IPL 2024 playoffs. ‘RCB Kohli-Fies for Playoffs’ Giant Screen at M Chinnaswamy Displays Special Message After Royal Challengers Bengaluru Qualify for IPL 2024 Playoffs.
