Mohammed Shami apologised to the cricket fans as well as BCCI after he did not find a place in the Indian cricket team for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The ace right-arm fast bowler has been out of action since the 2023 ODI World Cup after undergoing surgery to an ankle but has not missed out on making the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. In an Instagram post, the 34-year-old pacer shared a video of him working out at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. He wrote, "Putting in my efforts and getting better with my bowling fitness day-by-day. Will continue working hard towards getting ready for the match and to play domestic red ball cricket.
