Shami, who had a surgery on his ankle a while ago, shared the update with fans in a social media where he is seen bowling with a short run-up. "Vibing with the latest, grinding for the greatest," Shami captioned the video as he shared it on social media. The right-arm fast bowler has been out of action since the 2023 ODI World Cup due to an ankle injury. Shami had a splendid 2023 World Cup campaign, finishing as the leading wicket-taker with 24 scalps to his name.
