Mahela Jayawardene has been re-appointed as the Mumbai Indians head coach ahead of IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025. The Sri Lankan cricket legend had previously been the head coach of Mumbai Indians from 2017 to 2022. Jayawardene had subsequently become Mumbai Indians' Global Head of Cricket with Mark Boucher becoming the head coach of the IPL franchise.
