South African player Madison Landsman created history after becoming the first ever bowler to take a hat-trick in the U19 Women's T20 World Cup. After being asked to bat first, South Africa put up a modest total of 112-7 against Scotland on Monday, January 16 at Willowmoore Park, Benoni. Scotland got a very poor start and were 59-5 after the 14th over. However then, Landsman came and took a hat-trick in the 15th over the match. She dismissed Maryam Faisal, Niamh Muir and Orla Montgomery to achieve the feat.
