Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have appointed Zaheer Khan as the mentor of the franchise ahead of IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025. The former Indian cricket team fast bowler brings with him a lot of experience as he joins the LSG set-up ahead of the retentions as well as the auction for the next season of the cash-rich tournament. The mentor's role at LSG was left vacant after Gautam Gambhir had left the franchise to join Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) before IPL 2024. Zaheer Khan has a lot of experience in the IPL, having played for teams like Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Mumbai Indians (MI) as well as Delhi Capitals (then known as Delhi Daredevils).
