Latest ICC Test Rankings: Joe Root, Jasprit Bumrah and James Anderson Move Up After 1st Test Between India and England

Jasprit Bumrah took a total of nine wickets in the match and as a result of which, he finds himself in the ninth rank. James Anderson also moved up a place to seventh place in the list. England captain Joe Root displaced Indian counterpart Virat Kohli to become the fourth-ranked Test batsman.

England captain Joe Root, bowler James Anderson and Indian paceman Jasprit Bumrah have gained places to move up in the latest Test rankings, according to an update by the International Cricket Council.
