Kolkata Knight Riders players and staff members performed a victory lap at the Eden Gardens after a memorable 18-run win over Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024 on May 11. Rain delayed as well as caused the match to be shortened but the excitement levels among the fans did not dip at all as they rooted for the team right till the last ball. With the win, KKR became the first team in IPL 2024 to qualify for the playoffs and they did so with two matches remaining.
