Kolkata Knight Riders secured a victory by 24 runs over Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024. After opting to bowl first, MI had KKR in a tough spot by scalping their five wickets in just 57 runs. Manish Pandey came in as impact sub and he stitched a partnership with Venkatesh Iyer taking KKR out of deep waters.  Although KKR didn't get a solid finish and ended up with just 169 on board. Chasing it, MI came hard but also lost wickets at regular intervals. They faced a big blow when they lost Hardik Pandya and Nehal Wadhera back to back and things came on the shoulders of Suryakumar Yadav and Tim David.
