Kavem Hodge struck his maiden century in Test cricket, achieving this feat on Day 2 of the England vs West Indies 2nd Test 2024 on Friday, July 19. The right-hander came in to bat at number five with his team at 84/3 and did well to absorb the pressure and lead West Indies' counterattack. Hodge scored his century off 143 balls, hitting a total of 17 fours. Earlier, England scored 416 runs on the opening day of this second Test match, with Ollie Pope being the top-scorer with 121 runs off 167 balls.
