The inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) is making good use of the technology and thus players can review the wide and no-balls as well. During the RCB-W vs DC-W WPL 2023 match, Jemimah Rodrigues opted for DRS (Decision Review System) for a waist-high no-ball. Delhi Capitals’ batter, Jemimah Rodrigues, who was batting, found the ball from pacer Megan Schutt above her waist. However, the umpire did not signal any no-ball, following which, Jemimah had to take a review. This was the first time that a batter had taken a review for a waist-high no-ball in the WPL. Coming to the match, Delhi Capitals won the game against RCB by a huge margin of 60 runs with Shafali Varma (84) and Meg Lanning (72) top scoring.
