Jay Shah responded to Virat Kohli after the star Indian batsman congratulated him on becoming the new chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Shah was elected unopposed as the new ICC chairman and is the youngest ever to hold that position. He will succeed Greg Barclay, whose term comes to an end this November. Taking to 'X' formerly Twitter, Shah, the current Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary, reacted to Kohli's message for him and wrote, "We will work collaboratively towards taking cricket to unparalleled heights, ensuring it remains a global beacon of excellence."
