Anderson, while achieving this feat, scalped a five-wicket haul in just seven overs. He also became the second paceman to reach the 1000 first-class wicket-mark after fellow countryman Andy Caddick achieved it in 2005.
England fast bowler James Anderson bagged his 1000th first-class wicket while playing for Lancashire against Kent in the County Championship. The 38-year old dismissed Kent batsman Heino Kuhn to achieve the feat.
