The Indian Premier League (IPL) media rights for the cycle 2023-2027 are up for grabs. The media rights are divided into four categories or packages. Package A which is for domestic broadcast rights has a base price of Rs 18,130 crore, Package B for digital rights has base price of Rs 12,210 crore, followed by Package C for international broadcasting rights with base price Rs 1,110 crore and Package D for non-exclusive rights with Rs 1,440 crore as base price. Reportedly, TV rights (Package A) were sold at Rs 23,575 crore while Digital rights (Package B) at Rs 19,680 crore.
