Ireland Beat South Africa for the First Time in ODIs, Register 43-Run Win in Second ODI

Set a target of 291 runs, South Africa were bowled out for 247 as Ireland registered their first win over the Proteas in ODIs. Andrew Balbirnie, the Ireland captain, was named as Man of the Match for his 102 runs.

Ireland recorded their first win in ODIs against South Africa. After the first game of the series was washed out, hosts Ireland won the second match by 43 runs.
