Pakistan suffered a loss in their first match of the three-match T20I series against Ireland as the hosts powered to a five-wicket victory at Dublin. After put into bat first, Pakistan set a score of 182/6 riding on the half-century of Babar Azam (57). Saim Ayub gave him a good hand and backed by Iftikhar Ahmed's strong finish, Pakistan posted a good total on board. Chasing it, opener and captain Andy Balbirnie (77) scored a stunning half-century and took Ireland to the threshold of victory. Curtis Campher's strong finish carried them over the finishing line.
