IPL is one of the biggest sporting competitions across the world. The auction for IPL media rights began yesterday and as per the reports, TV rights (Package A) were sold at Rs 23,575cr, while Digital rights (Package B) at Rs 19,680cr. The total bidding value for the rights was at Rs 43,255cr. The respective winners will earn the right to promote the competition for the next five years from 2023 to 2027.
