Sunrisers Hyderabad overcame Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs to seal a spot in the IPL 2024 final against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, May 26. Pat Cummins and co had finished second on the IPL 2024 points table and hence got a second chance at making it to the summit clash after losing Qualifier 1. However, quite interestingly, the IPL 2024 final between KKR and SRH will have no player from India's T20 World Cup 2024. Earlier, the BCCI had picked a 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and had no player from both these franchises. KKR's Rinku Singh, though, was named among the reserves and can only be included if a player is injured or misses the ICC T20 World Cup.
