The Indian women's cricket team players were spotted wearing black armbands during the third ODI against South Africa at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday, June 23. This gesture from the Indian women's cricket team was in honour of David Johnson, who passed away at the age of 52 on Thursday (June 20). Johnson, a former Indian cricketer who had played two Tests in 1996 and picked up three wickets, had fallen from the fourth floor of his apartment building in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first against India in the third ODI.
