India won gold medal the Asian Games 2023 Women's cricket team as the Indian Women's Cricket team clinched a stunning 19-run victory at the final beating Sri Lanka. It is a historic achievement for the Women in Blue as this is the first medal for India ever in the Asian Games. The cricketers were awarded with their gold medals in the ceremony after the match amidst national anthem played with the tri-colour flag hoisted.
