The India women's cricket team scored a total in excess of 200 for the very first time in T20Is, achieving this feat during their Women's Asia Cup T20 2024 match against UAE on Sunday, July 21. This was mostly because of sparkling half-centuries from the bats of captain Harmanpreet Kaur (66 of 47 balls) and Richa Ghosh (64* off 29 deliveries). The two stitched a 75-run partnership off only 45 deliveries. Apart from Kaur and Ghosh, Shafali Verma (37 off 18), Smriti Mandhana (13) and Jemimah Rodrigues (14) made contributions. This is also the highest total in the history of the Women's Asia  Cup. Women’s Asia Cup T20 2024: Tanuja Kanwer Makes International Debut in IND-W vs UAE-W Match, Receives Cap From Renuka Thakur.
