The India women's cricket team defeated their South African counterparts by 10 wickets to win the 3rd and final T20I of the series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday, July 9. Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and put South Africa to bat, a decision which her bowlers backed up. Pooja Vastrakar led a spectacular bowling effort by taking four wickets while conceding only 13 runs as India bowled out South Africa for 84 runs in 17.1 overs. Radha Yadav took three wickets, while Arundhati Reddy, Shreyanka Patil and Deepti Sharma took one wicket apiece. Tazmin Brits, who scored fifties in the first and second T20Is, was South Africa's top-scorer. With this win, India drew the series 1-1.
