India vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI 2021: Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar Help Visitors Clinch Series Win
Barring Suryakumar Yadav (53) the Indian batting faltered today as Sri Lanka put up a gutsy performance, reducing India to 193/7 at one stage in their pursuit of 276 runs. But Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar forged a 84-run partnership to ensure India's victory at the end with five balls remaining.
Lower-order batsmen Deepak Chahar (69*) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (19) held their nerves to help India win the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka by three wickets. Sri Lanka batted first and scored 275/9. In response, the Indian batting failed to replicate their form from the last match. But Chahar and Kumar ensured a win at the end, which also meant that India won the series with a match to be played.
