Rain played spoilsport as it led to the toss between India's and Pakistan's match being delayed. The Group A fixture was set to have its toss at 3:00 pm IST (Indian Standard Time) with the match starting off at 3:30 pm IST (Indian Standard Time). However, the heavens opened up right before the toss and hence it was delayed.
