After losing opener Smriti Mandhana early in the inning, Shefali Verma and wicketkeeper Yashtika Bhatia steadied the run flow for India. Shefali departed on 31 runs while Bhatia topped the Indian batters with 36 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur also added 30 runs to help reach India 145 runs in 20 overs.
