IND vs ENG 1st Test 2021: Match Ends in a Draw After Continuous Rain on Day 5

India needed 157 runs to win the match at the end of the fourth day and Virat Kohli and his side would have fancied their chances. But they never got an opportunity to come out and bat as play wasn't possible at all due to rain on the fifth day. The second Test match would start from August 12.

The first Test between India and England eventually ended in a draw after no play was possible on the fifth day because of rains. BCCI confirmed this news on Twitter.
