ICC Announces Equal Prize Money for Men’s and Women’s Teams Competing in International Cricket Council Events

Both men's and women's teams would now receive equal prize money for not only winning matches at comparable events but also for finishing in similar positions. Over-rate sanctions were also revised in the meeting and now, players would be fined 5% of their match for every over that falls short of the target.

In a massive boost for women's cricket, the International Cricket Council on Thursday, July 13, announced equal prize money for men's and women's teams competing in ICC events.
