Hubli Tigers Beat Bengaluru Blasters at Maharaja T20 Trophy 2024 in First-Ever Match With Three Super Overs

Both teams gave it their all, with two Super Overs tied, but in the end, the Manish Pandey-led side emerged victorious. Batting first, Hubli Tigers were bowled out for 164 runs in 20 overs, with captain Manish Pandey being the top-scorer (33 runs). Mohammed Taha added 31 runs as well. For Bengaluru Blasters, Lavish Kaushal took five wickets for just 17 runs. In response, Bengaluru Blasters captain Mayank Agarwal led the chase with a 54-run knock off 34 deliveries. Hubli Tigers' Manvath Kumar snared four wickets while Vidwath Kaverappa took two as Bengaluru Blasters scored 164. The first Super Over saw Bengaluru Blasters post 10/1, and Hubli Tigers, too, ended with the same score in the chase. The second over, too, was tied when Bengaluru Blasters scored eight, the same amount of runs scored by the Hubli Tigers. In the third Super Over, Bengaluru Blasters scored 12/1 and Hubli Tigers got over the line, hitting 13.
