Ravichandran Ashwin shared an insight into what led to Mohammad Rizwan's 'bizarre' run out during the Pakistan vs Nepal match in the Asia Cup 2023 tournament on Wednesday, August 30. The ace all-rounder, who was closely observing the game, felt that Rizwan did not dive just like he is seen doing at other times, because he was not wearing a helmet. The Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter was run out at the non-striker's end from a direct hit by Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee. Rizwan had tried to protect himself from the throw instead of diving to ground his bat. Ashwin took to X, formerly Twitter to share his thoughts on this dismissal. Mohammad Rizwan Fails To Ground His Bat As Dipendra Singh Airee’s Direct Hit Runs Him Out During PAK vs NEP Asia Cup 2023 Match (Watch Video)
