Hardik Pandya has been officially ruled out of the India vs New Zealand ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on October 22. The all-rounder hurt his ankle while attempting to field off his own bowling during India's match against Bangladesh and was taken for scans later on. In a medical update shared on social media, the BCCI stated, "The all-rounder was taken for scans and is advised rest. He will be under the constant supervision of the BCCI Medical Team. He will not be taking the flight to Dharamsala with the team on 20th October."
