Born on October 14, in 1981, Gautam Gambhir made his debut for the India national cricket team in an ODI against Bangladesh in 2003. The left-hander went on to become one of the most prolific opening batsmen and played a crucial role in India winning the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup titles. Gambhir also was instrumental as a captain, leading the Kolkata Knight Riders to two IPL titles before returning as a mentor in IPL 2024 and winning another one with the Men in Purple.
