India suffer defeat to Australia in the third and final ODI of the series by a margin of 66 runs. They still win the series 2-1 due to the lead taken previously. Opting to bat first, Australia started explosively through David Warner and Mitchell Marsh which was carried forward by Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne. Although they didn't get a strong finish they were able to set a big target of 352 on the board. In reply, Rohit Sharma started aggressively racing to his half-century in no time. He received good support from Virat Kohli but Glenn Maxwell shined with the ball dismissing both and later took the wicket of well set Shreyas Iyer too. The target got larger for India at the end and they were bowled out for 286.
