Pakistan and Bangladesh are currently playing in the Asia Cup 2023 and have qualified for the Super Four stage taking on each other in the first match of the second round at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Bangladesh batted first in the match and as Pakistan came on to chase, one of the floodlights stopped functioning and players had to leave the field. The match was temporarily stopped by the umpires and is set to resume when the lights are back on.
