Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team captain Fatima Sana’s father passed away in Karachi on October 10. Fatima Sana will fly to Karachi on the earliest available flight as per reports.
The Pakistan Women’s National Cricket Team is currently on the third position in Group A of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Team captain Fatima Sana will travel back to Karachi midway into the tournament following her father’s demise. As per the report from Gio, Sana will take the earliest flight available but her return plans are not confirmed yet. Fatima Sana led Pakistan in their victory against Sri Lanka earlier in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.
