Test cricket over the years has evolved and batters nowadays have adopted a more aggressive approach. But did you know that the fastest Test fifty was set a decade ago by Pakistan's Misbah Ul Haq? The former Pakistan national cricket team cricketer was not much known for his aggressive style of batting but he holds this record, having gotten to the mark off just 21 deliveries during a match against Australia. He had then eclipsed Jacques Kallis, who had scored a fifty off 24 balls in a Test match in 2005. Misbah Ul Haq did not stop there and went on to smash a 56-ball century.
