RCB escaped a bullet in the IPL 2024 eliminator as Dinesh Karthik, who was adjudged LBW by the on-field umpire had the decision overturned by the third umpire. Karthik was struck on the pads in front of the wicket by Avesh Kham and the umpire adjudged him out. Karthik went for the DRS and the third umpire spotted a spike when the ball was next to the bat. Although it did seem like it was from the bat hitting the pad and not the ball. Yet, he overturned the decision. Fans were clearly unhappy with the decision and took to social media to share their thoughts on it. Such a blind umpiring, there should be merit points if umpire does mistakes they should also be charged match fees. #RCBvsRR pic.twitter.com/JI0nMuiVaA
