Virat Kohli entertained the audience at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium as he scored a 48th ODI hundred and led India to a comfortable seven-wicket victory against Bangladesh in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on October 19. However, a rare thing of Kohli denying singles when he was nearing his century, was seen and this has left a section of fans disappointed. The right-hander eventually completed his hundred with a six that sealed India the win. Later on, KL Rahul, who was batting with Kohli at the other end, revealed that it was he who denied singles to Kohli for him to get to his century. Some fans felt Kohli was 'selfish' in getting to his milestone. Here are some reactions. Fan Unhappy With Way Kohli Got His 100
If Kohli is turning down singles with 7 wickets in hand and 10 overs left purely so he can get a century, I'd bowl 5 wides down the leg side if I'm a Bangladesh bowler. No more nonsense from any cricketer big or small about "I play for the team."

'Playing for Records'
Kohli playing for records rather than for team win, never seen him do like this in decades, disappointed#ViratKohli

'Not Professional'
Selfish innings by Kohli or any player for that sake who just think of 100 and forget that there is run rate also. Not professional. #INDvsBAN

'Funniest Hundred'
This is by far the most funniest hundred I've ever seen in international cricket 😭 Man was working out every single run scenario that would take him to the 100 in his mind.
