England national cricket team pacer Mark Wood has been ruled out of action for the remainder of 2024 due to an injury to his right elbow. The tearaway pacer, as per a statement by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), has a bone stress injury and had experienced it during the Test series against West Indies and later, had also injured his right thigh during the first Test against Sri Lanka. The 34-year-old, as a result, won't be taking part in England's tours of Pakistan and New Zealand.
