CPL 2021: St Kitts and Nevis Patriots Win Maiden Title With Three-Wicket Win Over St Lucia Kings

Batting first, St Lucia Kings posed 159/7 on the board and they had the match well under control when they reduced St Kitts and Nevis Patriots to 95/5 at the end of the 14th over. But young left-hander Dominic Drake struck a match-winning knock, which included three fours and as many sixes, was enough to take his side to a win, off the last ball of the game.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on Wednesday, won their maiden Caribbean Premier League title by defeating St Lucia Kings by three wickets. Dominic Drake was the star player for the champions, hitting a 24-ball 48 to seal the win for his side. For St Lucia Kings, this was a second consecutive defeat in a CPL final.
