The Cricket Association of Nepal have lifted the suspension from leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane after the Patan High Court in Nepal acquitted him from the rape case of an 18-year-old girl. Lamichhane was proven innocent and was available for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 selection. CAN posted a tweet for the same on their official Twitter handle and informed about the development. The leg spinner was sentenced to eight years in jail when he was proven guilty by the Nepal District Court.
