Suryakumar Yadav fell to a run-out after being involved in a terrible mix-up with Virat Kohli during the India vs New Zealand ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match on October 22. The ODI World Cup debutant stroked the ball for a single and started to run, probably not aware whether the ball had passed Mitchell Santner, the fielder. Kohli too had set off but pulled back after seeing that Santner had the ball. The New Zealand spinner then threw the ball to Trent Boult who flicked it to skipper Tom Latham to complete the run out. Spirit of Cricket!
