The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited applications for the role of head coach for the Indian men's cricket team. In an official statement on social media, the Indian cricket board made this announcement. The statement from the cricket board states that interested candidates for the role will have to apply by 6 pm IST (Indian Standard Time) on May 27, a day after the IPL 2024 final in Chennai. BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated that current head coach Rahul Dravid, whose contract runs out after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, can reapply if he wishes to.
