The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) extended its warm wishes on the occasion of National Sports Day 2024. The Indian cricket board, in a message on 'X', formerly Twitter, wrote, "BCCI wishes everyone a very Happy #NationalSportsDay. Let's continue to cheer and support our athletes as they strive for excellence and inspire the nation!" Meanwhile, the Indian squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 was announced a few days ago with Harmanpreet Kaur set to lead. The Indian men's national cricket team will be in action next in the Test series against Bangladesh in September.
