Netherlands all-rounder Bas de Leede had a tough outing at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match against Australia at Delhi. He was smashed for 115 runs in his 10 overs and he could scalp only two wickets. Glenn Maxwell, who was in a rampaging form, smashed de Leede all around the park and scored 43 runs off his final two overs. This is the most runs conceded by any bowler in a single game in the history of the men's ODI format. The previous record was held by Adam Zampa and Mick Lewis jointly.
