Bangladesh have registered their first-ever Test series victory over Pakistan, after beating the Shan Masood-led side by six wickets in the second Test match in Rawalpindi on September 3. With this, Bangladesh have whitewashed Pakistan 2-0 in the Test series. Litton Das' century and his partnership with Mehidy Hasan Miraz scripted an incredible turnaround for Bangladesh after they were reduced to 26/6 at one stage in their first innings. The bowlers, led by Hasan Mahmud and Nahid Rana then put up an incredible performance to bowl Pakistan out for just 172 runs, thereby ensuring that Bangladesh needed to chase down 185 runs to win the second Test. And they got over the line in the second session on Day 5, with Shakib Al Hasan hitting the winning runs. This epic Test series victory is set to be remembered for a long time to come in Bangladesh cricket while Pakistan need to regroup and improve big time with upcoming assignments ahead.
