A bizarre incident occurred during the Somerset vs Leicestershire Royal London One-Day Cup 2024 semifinal. As Somerset were batting, Lewis Goldsworthy connected a solid shot towards the deep mid-wicket, which went all the way over the boundary for a six. The Leicestershire dug-out was in that direction and the ball accidentally went inside one of the kit-bags placed infront of the dug-out. The fielders were confused for a moment and the ball got lost.
